Bradley Alan Calahan

February 21, 1975 – September 25, 2025

Bradley Alan Calahan, 50, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. Born February 21,

1975, to Michael J. and Jean E. Calahan, Brad was raised in Lebanon, Oregon, where he

attended and graduated from Lebanon Union High School in 1993. His time there was spent

excelling in academics, football, baseball, and wrestling, building lifelong friendships and a deep

love for teamwork and perseverance.

He went on to earn his degree in Management Information Systems from Oregon State

University in 1997. Later, Brad forged a distinguished career with Hampton Lumber, where he

served as the Director of Information Technology. His dedication, problem-solving skills, and

leadership left a lasting mark on the company and those who worked alongside him.

Brad married Amy Dickerson of Albany, Oregon, surrounded by their closest family and friends

in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001. Together they built their life in Portland, Oregon, creating a home

grounded in love, laughter, and dedication.

Brad's greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Natalie Calahan and Reagan Calahan. He

loved nothing more than supporting them - from coaching and cheering from the sidelines of

their sports and school events, celebrating their milestones, and sharing in their adventures.

Always proud, and forever their biggest fan, Brad's love for his girls was evident in everything he

did. Both carry forward his humor, strength, and kindness.

Brad was a man of discipline, loyalty, and integrity. Rooted in his Oregon upbringing, he carried

a deep sense of responsibility to those he loved, his dearest friends, and the communities he

was part of. Whether helping a friend, creating an epic holiday display for his neighborhood,

coaching his daughters' teams, or lending a hand on a project, Brad could always be counted

on to show up - steady, kind, and always with a sense of humor.

He will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his devotion to family, his unwitty sense of

humor and the calm steadiness that defined his character. He built a life grounded in love and

discipline, always focused on doing the right thing rather than the easy thing and always knew

the most courageous way to make it happen.

Brad is survived by his parents, Michael and Jean Calahan of Toledo, Oregon; his daughters,

Natalie Calahan of Fort Collins, Colorado and Reagan Calahan of Corvallis, Oregon; his sister,

Jennifer Garner of Veneta, Oregon; along with his niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lifetime of

friends who loved him deeply and will miss him tremendously.

A Remembrance of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at

Huston-Jost Funeral Home in Lebanon, Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Brad by donating to the OHSU Foundation for Neurological Research.
