Bradley Hartronft Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mercer-Adams Funeral Service on Dec. 4, 2024.
Bradley "Brad" Charles Hartronft,72, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his home in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born December 11, 1951, in Lawton, OK, to Bill and Nova Ann (West) Hartronft. Brad married the love of his life, Karen Sue Wilson, on October 10, 1975, in Oklahoma City. Brad loved the Lord and will rest in eternal peace.
Brad graduated from Northwest Classen High School and attended the University of Central Oklahoma. He retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation as a Transportation Manager II after a dedicated service career to the state.
A devoted husband and father, Brad found joy in life's simple pleasures - cheering on his beloved OU football team, spending peaceful days fishing, and, most importantly, coaching his children's sports teams. His passion for sports transcended the game itself; it was about teaching, mentoring, and creating lasting memories with young athletes, especially the moments shared with his children, Brian and Lauren, and later his beloved granddaughter, Madeline.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nova Ann Hartronft, and his younger brother, Barry Hartronft. In a heartbreaking loss for the family, his beloved wife Karen passed away nine weeks after Brad's unexpected death, ending their nearly 49 years of marriage.
He is survived by his son, Brian Curtis Hartronft; daughter, Lauren Hartronft Linduff; granddaughter, Madeline Boggs; cousins Rex and Kathy Massey, Carrie and Kenny Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2:00 pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, OK. To share condolences, visit www.mercer-adams.com.
