Bradley Donald Moon

Bradley Moon, 23, of Pecatonica, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on February 22, 2002, in Rockford the son of William Moon and Crystal (Waeffler) Heslop. Bradley attended Pecatonica High School and worked at GFI Metal Treating. He was the proud father of Isla and Abel.

Bradley's life was defined by his love for his children. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with them. He also liked spending time with his cousins, friends, and best friend Allen. Everyone who knew him liked him. Bradley had a passion for fishing, cooking, kayaking, and boating. He played golf and frisbee golf, and he adored his dog, Mila.

Bradley is survived by his children, Isla, and Abel; parents, William Moon, and Crystal and Matthew Heslop; siblings, Danielle Heslop, and Jayda Heslop; grandparents, Dan and Cindy Waeffler, and Jim and Sue Leatherman; step-grandparents, Dave and Shirley Heslop; great-grandparents, Ray and Judy Sullivan, and Mary Lee; uncles and aunts, Russell D. N. Waeffler, Tiffany and Chris Moski, Mark Heslop, Lisa and Jason Smith, Mike and Kara Heslop, Nick and Kelsey Heslop, Paula Pinne, and Colette Wilson; cousins, Skylar Eisman, Russell D. Waeffler, Rylie Waeffler, Courtney Anderson, Dillan Smith, Alissa Pinne, and Amanda Deon. He was predeceased by grandfather, Brad Moon; and great-grandparents, Norman Waeffler, and Richard and Norma Welden.

A celebration of Bradley's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Olson Funeral Home - Genandt Chapel, 602 North Elida Street, Winnebago, IL.
