Brandon J Clawson

Brandon J Clawson age 40 of Church Hill passed away Wednesday (10/1/25) unexpectedly from a medical emergency. He was employed as a Paramedic/Firefighter with the City of Bristol Fire Department. He had been a paramedic for 20 years and was a lifetime member of the Carters Valley Volunteer Fire Department and The Church Hill Rescue Squad.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; Kenneth and Annie Jarrett, paternal grandparents; Alonzo and Edna Clawson, mother-in-law; Dona Crigger, uncle; Steve Jarrett.

He is survived by his wife; Brittany Clawson, sons; Elijah and Noah, parents; Bill and Bessie Clawson, sister; Kim Clawson, father-in-law, Tony Crigger, sisters-in-law; Andrea Lamb (Rick),

Ariel Crigger, Ashley Steele (Adam), Taylor Prater (Ray), brother-in-law; Micah Crigger (Angel), aunts; Sue Jarrett, Shelby Morgan, uncles; L.C. Clawson (Judy) Brandon Price, several nieces, nephews, his City of Bristol Fire Department family, and many other first responder friends.

The family will receive friends 4:00 pm - 7:00pm Sunday (10/5/25) at East Rogersville Baptist Church. Funeral services will 10:00 am Monday (10/6/25) at East Rogersville Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. The City of Bristol Fire Department will serve as Pallbearers. Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville is serving the family.
