Judy Ann Russell

Judy Ann Russell, age 65, went to be with Jesus on Friday, October 3, 2025 while surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Isaac. Judy enjoyed reading her bible, singing, and talking about the Lord. Judy received her ultimate healing and is now at home in the arms of Jesus forever.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Angel and Khloe Russell; parents, Rev. Clarence Helton and Dovie Helton; sister, Betty Russell.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jesse Russell; son, Benji Russell and wife Stacey; grandson, Isaac Russell; brothers, Silas Helton, Parlin Helton (Tracy), and Luther Helton (Mary); sisters, Vernia Mowell, Fornia Johnson, and Sally McKeel; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Shelina and Poke Helton, Dale Helton, Chelsey and Cameron Housewright, Camden Housewright, and all the hospice nurses for all the care they provided.

A Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 7 at Highland Cemetery with Rev. Benji Russell, Rev. Cameron Housewright, Rev. Gerald Helton officiating. Music will be provided by Mount Mariah singers. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
