Brenda Lambert Obituary
Brenda Joyce Childress Lambert, 82, passed away on Sunday, September 28th, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Earl Childress and Ethel Bartley Childress; husband, Bill Lambert; sisters, Betty Bustamonte and Debbie Paul; brother, Buddy Childress.
Brenda was a graduate of Radford University and taught school in Russell County for 32 years. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include sons, Kent Lambert and wife Karen, Shannon Lambert and wife Lisa; brother, Bill Childress; grandchildren, Jessica Lambert and Kira Lambert; brother-in-law, Richard Paul; sister-in-law, Nancy Childress. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 7 pm in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Robert Gragg officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
