Brenda Louise Nimmo

Brenda Louise Nimmo, born March 7, 1943, passed from this life on November 3, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Glen and Irene Cardwell, three brothers Delton, Bill and James 'Bud' Cardwell, and stepson Travis Nimmo. Brenda is survived by her husband of 26 years Charles L. Nimmo; son, Matthew Terrill, daughter-in-law, Tandi Terrill, grandson, Chance Terrill; sisters, Elaine Ellison, Evelyn Rowe and husband Dean, brother Dale Cardwell; stepson Todd Nimmo and wife Laresa Nimmo, step granddaughter, Kaitlyn Nimmo, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Brenda gave her life to Christ and was saved while attending South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. She was raised on a dairy farm in Seymour, MO. She loved to fish, take care of her plants and flowers, and mowing the yard. She retired from Frisco / Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad after 41 years as a clerk and loved driving a forklift over typing on a keyboard. Visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, MO on Monday November 10 between 12:00pm and 2:00pm with graveside services to follow immediately afterwards at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Services will be officiated by John Roberson, Jr.
