He was born September 20, 1966, in California, where he was adopted by Donald L. Hamilton and Mary "Jo" Hamilton (Caha) at the age of 2. He spent his childhood and most of his young adult life in California, then ventured eastward to Nevada, Michigan and Ohio. He worked most of his life in sales and in his later years, over-the-road trucking. He enjoyed country music, (especially Hank Williams, Jr.), ATV trail riding, California Bear's football games, TV show Law and Order, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
He is survived by his daughter, Grace Hoolihan (Ex-wife Amy Hoolihan) from Michigan, son, Grant Hamilton, sister Linda Mielke (Dean Mielke), two nephews Allen Mielke. Joseph Mielke, and other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Hamilton (2024) and father Donald L. Hamilton (2011) who were married for 59 years. Also, by his grandparents Joseph and Agnes (Annen) Caha from Hemingford, Nebraska, and several aunts and uncles.

Brent, I'm so, so sorry. I'm sorry you had such a horrible past year, I'm even sorrier it lead to this. This is what we were afraid of. We knew something was wrong when we hadn't heard from you. T was getting ready to start calling all the homes when I decided to take a chance and Google, and that is when I found your obituary :( Thank you for always being a good friend to us both. Thank you for the laughs. For the ear to listen. For the sound advice. For everything. You will be greatly missed.
