Brent Oertle Obituary
Brent was born on June 8, 1948, in Pittsburg to Charles E. Oertle Jr. and Gloria G. Oertle. He graduated from Pittsburg High School.
He was united in marriage to Sharon Kay White on June 8, 1985. She preceded him in death on September 19, 2008.
Brent worked for Cripe Bakery, Pla-mor Poolhall, and retired from SugarCreek Packing Co.
Brent enjoyed bowling, fishing, PSU and Chiefs football, and his many treasured pets.
Brent is survived by his beloved friend and stepson-in-law, Tom Hubbard, his stepson Wayne Lafollette, sisters Pamela Casey, Debbie Bittner, and Reenee Cochran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and stepdaughter, Stacy Hubbard.
He will be laid to rest along side his wife in the Girard City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.

Brent lived down the street from me on Martin Street. We fished and played in Lakeside Park. He had great skills as an artist. He was my first friend.
