Brett Alan Carmichael-65-passed away peacefully in his sleep on a trip to South Bend to visit his youngest daughter on December 27th, 2022.
Brett was a Master Carpenter and Construction and Buildings Supervisor at Tracy Farms and ranch in Franklin, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Carmichael in 1987 and 1997, respectively. Brett has three children, Kristi Lee of South Bend, IN, Eve Morningstar of South Bend, IN, and Brett Carmichael, Jr. of Simi Valley, CA. He is survived by two siblings-Candy Carmichael of Huntington, West Virginia, and Caryn Smola of Whiteland, IN. Brett was also blessed to have several loving cousins and other relatives in his life: JR Zimmer of Bluffton, IN, Barbara Tucker in Lucas, OH, Beverly Keever of Lucas, OH, Jeannine Masters of Lucas, OH, Susan Foss of Lucas, OH, Melinda Robertson of Mansfield, OH, Dick Zimmer of Gallatin, TN; and one maternal uncle, Nelson (Bud) Zimmer of Osceola, IN.
He was a member of The Cure Church in Tennessee and is surely singing with the angels in Heaven. He is dearly missed. A memorial service will be held in Osceola, IN on June 24th, 2023, and all who loved Brett are invited. Interested parties may contact Caryn Smola at (317) 437-4357.
