Prospect – Brian Bisson, age 57, of Prospect, CT passed away on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at home with his family by his side. Brian was born March 28, 1958 in Milford, the son of the late Leopold Bisson and Gertrude (Gratkowski) Bisson. Most recently, Brian was employed as a Special Education teacher for Newtown Public Schools. Brian was happiest while enjoying nature and outdoors with his family and friends. He was an active member of the sports community for many years coaching Little League and Parks and Recreation basketball teams in Prospect, as well as, the Little Pals Basketball Program in Naugatuck. Brian is survived by his wife, Maryann (Bierce) Bisson and their two sons: Brett and Colin Bisson, both of Prospect; three sisters: Jeanne DuBois and her husband, Ernest of Milford, Noreen Swanson and her husband, Dean of Woodbury and Darlene Mastrianna of Lebanon; his brother-in-law, William Bierce and his wife, Denise of Willington; and several nieces and nephews. Brian was predeceased by his two brothers: Leonard Bisson of Naugatuck and Robert Bisson of Milford. A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect. Brian's family will receive friends at Church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Brian's life to the National Park Foundation at www.nationalparks.org or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at www.ASPCA.org. Maryann and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Brian. What I remember most about Brian was his smile and when he laughed. He had a wonderful sense of humor.

Noreen, Darlene and Jeannie, I am so sorry about the loss of your brother. Margaret and I send our heartfelt condolences to you all.
