Brian Drafke

Brian Scott Drafke, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 8, 2025. Brian was a hard-working, honest, supportive, family-oriented man, and expressed his love in his own way. He loved drag racing with his youngest daughter Madison and wife Nicole. He loved racing his motorcycle and building race cars in his spare time. Racing was his passion. He loved to play bucket golf with his eldest daughter, Alexus, and her fiancée Aaron, along with the neighborhood Club Car group.

He was an integral part of Metropolitan Industries for over half of his life. His 25 years at Metropolitan, he created many relationships that grew into friendships and ultimately family. Brian could do anything you asked him to do, as his daughter stated, "He was a jack-of-all-trades." Brian loved and appreciated all of the friendships he made along the way.

Brian is survived by his devoted wife Nicole Drafke; cherished daughters Alexus (fiancée Aaron) and Madison Drafke; treasured granddaughter Aubree; parents Bernard and Deborah (nee Wells) Drafke; mother-in-law Fannie (Bill) Gasparik; father-in-law Gary Weinshenker; sister Victoria (Jeff) Thompson; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Gary Weinshenker Jr.

The memorial visitation will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 11 am to 5 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544. We kindly request that we not receive flowers, but rather donations to help pay for his service.
