Kellie, Haillie and Zacharie,
We are so sorry for your loss. My daughter and I have had seats behind your family at University of Texas football games for many years. There haven't been many conversations between us and until reading the beautifully written obituary today, we didn't know your names. We witnessed Brian's passion for Texas Football year after year. We'll miss overhearing his knowledgeable coach comments, his "I can't look" moments before a critical play and Brian's presence at the games. Our thoughts are with you.

Meeting and getting to know both Brian and Kellie through the game of baseball is something I will never forget. Two of the most loving and devoted parents I have ever met in my 17+ years of coaching baseball. Brian was an avid fan of the game and raised an incredible son. I will never forget his smiling face and how I would always see him supporting Zach, and the whole team for that matter, with Kellie always close by his side. He was so incredibly kind and had so much wisdom.

Today I was shocked to learn of Coach Johnson demise He was my daughter's soccer coach at LBJ High School in 1994-96. We recently, this school year ran into òne another again at Eastside Early College High School and we reminenced about many things. My sincere condolences to the entire family. He has left a great legacy. Praying for the family
