Brian Todd Jumper

Brian Todd Jumper, age 44, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024, in Odessa, TX, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on July 28, 1979, in Andrews, TX, he was the beloved son of Cheryl D. Jumper. Brian's life was a testament to his joyous spirit, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00PM, Friday, February 9, 2024, at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Phillips officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at McNett Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
Brian grew up in Andrews, TX, a town that remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was a cherished member of a close-knit family, including his uncle Bill Jumper and his wife Carolyn of Granbury, TX, aunts Linda Jones and her husband Wayne, and Pam Williams and her husband Brad, all of Andrews, TX. Brian's family circle extended to his loving cousins Chris Jones and his wife Holly of Amarillo, TX, Christy Snodgrass and her husband Charlie, Megan Mayes and her husband Michael, Allen Jumper and his wife Jill of Abilene, TX, and Beverly Frederick and her husband Robert of Wyle, TX, along with numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.T. and Patsy Jumper.
In his youth, Brian was known for his impressive strength and competitive spirit. As a high school weightlifter, he astounded his peers by besting all the senior boys in arm wrestling during his freshman year. This physical prowess was matched by his unwavering support for his favorite sports teams. He was an ardent fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, but his heart belonged to the Andrews Mustangs. Whether attending games in person or listening intently to the radio, Brian never missed a chance to cheer on his team.
Brian's love for sports was paralleled only by his love for food and family gatherings. He had a special fondness for Mexican and Italian cuisine, and family meals were often filled with laughter and lively conversations. His presence was a staple at family game nights, where he enjoyed playing Skip Bo and Dominos, and his laughter would echo through the room during movie nights.
An outdoorsman at heart, Brian relished the opportunity to be outside, whether it was a simple walk, or a family outing. His love for the open air was a reflection of his open heart and generous spirit. He had a special ability to make everyone around him feel welcome and included, and his warmth will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of his company.
Brian's legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones and his passions. As we bid farewell to a life so beautifully lived, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.
