Kenneth Rex Warren, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones in his hometown of Andrews, Texas, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on April 22, 1955, in Andrews, Kenneth's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and love for his family.

Kenneth was a 1974 graduate of Andrews High School, after which he honorably served his country in the United States Navy. His service to the nation was a source of great pride for Kenneth and shaped the man of integrity he became. Following his military service, Kenneth embarked on a versatile career. He was a jack-of-all-trades, known for his work in the oil and gas industry with Halliburton, as a dedicated truck driver for H2Oil Energy, and as a skilled mechanic. His talent for understanding and repairing machinery was unmatched, and he took great satisfaction in every job well done.

On September 22, 1995, Kenneth married the love of his life, Shannon Kay Wyatt. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their children. Their union was blessed with two children, Wyatt Joshwa Warren and Kiskadawn Marie Warren, both of Andrews. Kenneth was a devoted family man, and his legacy lives on through his children, his son Wyatt and wife Cristina, and daughter Kiskadawn.

Kenneth's life was further enriched by his grandchildren, Aleah Marie-Shea, Lakynn McKenzie, Wyatt Joshwa II, Finnley Carter, Zacharias Rex and Elijah Ace Jesus. He delighted in their accomplishments and adventures, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Shannon, his children, and grandchildren as well as his brother Eldon Warren and wife Patsy of Euless, Texas, and his sister Deborah Burnett and husband Weston of Andrews, Texas. Kenneth's nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family members will forever remember his kind spirit and generous heart.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Eldon R. Warren, his mother, Dorothy Virginia Renner, and his step-father, Guy Ferguson. They have now welcomed him with open arms in eternal rest.

Kenneth's interests were as varied as his skills. An avid car enthusiast, there wasn't an engine he couldn't fix or improve. His passion for automobiles was well-known, and he spent many happy hours tinkering in the garage. He also enjoyed watching football, cheering on his favorite teams with the same enthusiasm he brought to every aspect of his life. Above all, Kenneth's greatest pleasure was found in the company of his family. Whether sharing meals, stories, or quiet moments, these times were the ones he treasured most.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from three until six o'clock in the afternoon at McNett Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Andrews Old Cemetery at two o'clock in the afternoon.
