R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc. - DennisonBrian Lee Lawver, 50, of Tippecanoe, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on September 25, 2025. Born May 30, 1975 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of Beverly Eileen (Palmer) Lawver and the late Larry Lynn Lawver.
Brian graduated as the salutatorian of Lakeland High School in 1993, and later went on to attend Belmont College where he earned his Associate Degree of Civil Engineering. After college, Brian was employed by Street’s Surveying and most recently had worked for Green & Associates, LLC – an affiliate of New River Engineering. Brian was an avid gamer who enjoyed spending countless hours on his PlayStation, and especially loved gaming with his nephew, Tyson. Above all else, Brian adored spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew.
Brian is survived by his mother, Beverly; sister, Kimberly (Jason) Anderson; brother, Larry (Ashley) Lawver; nieces and nephew, Shaelyn (significant other, Josiah Peebles) Anderson, Tyson Anderson, Georgia Lawver, Madison Lawver, and Laikyn Lawver, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be missed by his faithful canine companions, JoJo and Riley, and feline friend, KiKi. Brian is preceded in death by his father.
Calling hours for Brian will be held at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 29. Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap will officiate an 11:00 a.m. funeral service for Brian on Tuesday at the funeral home. Internment will follow after the conclusion of funeral services at Greenmont Cemetery in Freeport. Those wishing to honor Brian’s memory through a memorial donation may do so to a charity of their own choosing.
