Brian McFarland Obituary
Brian David McFarland, age 58, born to eternal life November 17, 2024.
Brian was the beloved husband of Melinda McFarland, and the devoted father of Cassidy McFarland (Stephen), Bailey McFarland (Nate), David Mercado (Sydney), Danielle Mercado (Gavin), Jasper McFarland, Penny McFarland, and Lenken McFarland. He was the cherished grandfather of Karlie and Andrew Coley and the loving brother of Cheryl Meunier (Nick).
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and life time friend Mark.
A 1984 graduate of Custer High School, Brian made many life long friends at the school. After graduating, he furthered his education at MATC, studying HVAC. He started his career with Auer Steel in 1999 and enjoyed 26 years at Auer Steel, making new friends and family. Brian was an only child so having friends and family was very important to him.
Music was Brian's passion, and he loved sharing his knowledge with everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his children and building relationships with all of them. Brian had many health issues, but he would never let it stop him from enjoying life.
Brian will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
No services will be held.

Brian was a great friend since Edison Junior High. We drifted apart as the years went by but even after I moved to Menomonee Falls I would spend many weekends/summertime sleeping over at his house and hanging with old friends. A few times he even got a pass for me to shadow him at Custer High when Menomonee Falls happened to have days off. Even when I was going through crap...he would ask check in and ask me how I'm doing. All while fighting cancer and everything else. Just a couple months age a mutual friend David Munzinger just passed at 59 and Brian and I were so shocked. We lost Mark in 1996 at 29. Brian was a good guy and always had passion...I will always regret we didn't get together like we would discuss. God Bless you Brian, I'm sure your in heaven with your awesome dad, mark, Zinger, Neil Peart, George Carlin, Dio and all your loved ones that went before you! Enjoy TA Vern's in the sky!
