Brian Moreland Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Moreland, who left us far too soon at the age of 36 on July 29, 2025. Born on January 21, 1989, Brian grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland, where he formed countless friendships and created lasting memories.
Brian was a devoted father, a beloved son, and a caring brother. He was a proud uncle and a loyal friend to many. To know him was to love him-his kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for those around him touched everyone he met.
Following his passion for food, Brian earned his Associate's Degree in culinary arts, a reflection of his love for cooking and sharing meals with the people he cared about. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-casting a line while fishing, watching anime, or cheering on his favorite football team.
Brian's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind his son, Joshua, his mother, Bonnie, his siblings, Matthew and Christina, his nephew, Julian, his nieces, Mariah and Makayla, and a large extended family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Timber Ridge Christian Church Cemetery in High View, WV at 2 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Vanderlinden.
The Family will receive friends at the Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4-8 PM.
