Brian J. Quinn, 57, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2025. Brian was born on October 15, 1967, in Cranston, RI. He was the son of the late William F. Quinn and Janice (Fitzgerald) Quinn of Cranston, RI. He called the city of Cranston home for most of his life. Brian was a 1986 graduate of Cranston High School East. It was there that he forged some of his greatest lifelong friendships. Brian played high school football and was quite an athlete in his day. Brian went on to work for the State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation as a surveyor for 33 years.
Brian had a lifelong passion for all New England sports teams. He was an especially faithful fan of the New England Patriots. Brian could frequently be found attending home games with his family and friends. Those games, whether the Patriots won or lost, brought him great joy.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his brother, David Quinn (Kerry O'Brien), of Westerly, and his sister, Suzy Quinn, of Cranston. He was affectionately known as Uncle Brian by his nephew Devin and his niece Maggie, whom he adored. He also leaves behind his dear aunt, Pat Fitzgerald, and close cousins Jay (Cara), Michael, Tommy, and Betsy Fitzgerald, all from Cranston. In addition to his family, Brian also leaves behind many friends who were like family to him. The family wishes to thank those who have supported Brian with their thoughts and prayers over the years. You have all meant the world to him.
Burial services will be private at the request of the family. Donations in Brian's memory can be made to the Providence Rescue Mission at 627 Cranston Street, Providence, RI 02907. Donations can also be made online at www.providencerescuemission.org/donate. The family wishes to thank those who have reached out with love and support during this difficult time.

My thoughts are with the family. Brain was an amazing guy. Seeing his smiling face on Facebook everyday was like a Good Morning to all. I ran into Brian, cannot remember where it was so unexpected as I had not seen hm probably since school. But talking to him was like I had talked with him everyday. Was just 2 old friends seeing each other again. he will surely be missed. RIP buddy.
