Brittany was born on May 6th, 1979 and passed away on
March 23rd, 2025 at the age of 45Brittany Marie Percival Fleming
May 6th, 1979 – March 23rd, 2025
If Brittany were here, she'd roll her eyes at anything too sentimental.. So let's get one thing straight: she was a total badass. A wild, fearless, take-no-BS, adventure-loving, tell-it-like-it-is kind of woman who lived life on her own terms. And damn, she lived it well.
She wasn't just a mom, a sister, a daughter, she was the person who could always make you laugh by trying to tell a story she couldn't get through because she was laughing so hard. She had an energy that drew people in, whether it was some random stranger at the gas station spilling their life story to her or her family feeling whole the second she walked in the room. She was magic like that. Her laughter was contagious, her adventurous spirit unmatched, and her heart always open. Britt lived life without hesitation, without fear, and always with love.
Brittany raised Savannah and Zoe with her former husband Derek Fleming. Teaching them to be strong, fearless, and just as wild-hearted as she was. She taught them how to live with no regrets, take risks, and always 'full send it,' whether that meant chasing dreams, jumping off cliffs, or singing at the top of their lungs (off-key, of course). To her sisters, she was the missing piece they didn't know was missing until she was back in their arms. To her friends and family, she was the person you called when you needed real talk, a drinking buddy, or someone to help you bury the evidence (kidding kind of).
She fought harder than anyone should ever have to fight, but she never let cancer define her. She lived. She laughed. She dropped more F-bombs than anyone could count. And in true Brittany fashion, she made sure to go out still flipping the bird at anything that tried to hold her back.
Now, she's off on her next great adventure, probably partying with loved ones, causing a ruckus, and laughing at all of us crying over her. So wipe your tears, go do something you love, or something that scares you. That's what she'd want.
A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday May 6th 6-8pm The Kindlands @ The Garden House. 11887 S 4000 Riverton, UT 84096 and it's exactly that, a celebration. No sad formalities. Just love, laughter, and stories that would make Brittany proud (or make her haunt you).
