Bruce Barsamian
Bruce Barton Barsamian passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his home in Sherman, Texas, after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer. Bruce was a very brave man who loved our Lord and kept a positive attitude throughout his health battles.
Bruce was born March 15, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Barton and Sally (Negarian) Barsamian. After graduation from Eagle Rock High School in Eagle Rock, California. Bruce joined the US Army and served until he was honorably discharged in 1970. He later graduated from the University of California with a business and financial degree. He then began a long and successful career in the real estate world in Irvine, California, and later in Incline Village, Neveda, till his retirement in 2010. He lived in Prescott, Arizonia from 2010 till he and Bev moved to Sherman, Texas, to be close to family.
Everyone who ever met him loved him and his great sense of humor. Bruce was a wild west enthusiast and could give you the history of the western greats like Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and most of the other notorious cowboys. It became a family joke that his TV remote was stuck on the old western tv series and movies.
We love him and miss him terribly. Although we know he is in the arms of the Lord, and we will see him again one day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barton and Sally Barsamian.
Bruce leaves behind his beloved family, wife Bev of Sherman, TX, sister Sandra Kermoyan of Corvallis, OR, nephews Dan Kermoyan of Corvallis, OR, Dave Kermoyan of Paso Robles, CA, Paul Kermoyan of Morgan Hill, CA, favorite sister-in-law Brenda Smith and her family of Bells, TX.
Bruce was cremated according to his wishes. A private memorial service is pending.
