Bruce LaBar I, 80, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Christmas day at the Whitestone Care Center, Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the Late Joan (Kitchen) LaBar, who died April 22, 2014.
Born November 11, 1945, in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Franklin M. LaBar Sr. and Viola (Counterman) LaBar. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He worked in Maintenance for the Stroudsburg Borough for many years.
Bruce is survived by his daughter Ellen Long and his son Bruce LaBar II, 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
As per his request, there will be no services at this time and the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements
