Bruce Wile passed away at his home in Enumclaw on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Bruce was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Ray and Majel (Ringer) Wile on May 6, 1940. He joined a sister Sedonna and later a brother Steve was born. When Bruce was 12 years old the family moved to San Jacinto, CA where his father became superintendent of schools. After graduation Bruce attended college in Riverside, CA. He married his high school sweetheart Linda Priest and they had a son Donald. Sadly, the marriage ended, and Bruce moved on. He had many jobs while in California including working for the forest service fighting forest fires in Idyllwild; a water company; a livestock auction; a bank; and Harold's Casino. Bruce really wanted to be a truck driver. He had a few truck driving jobs and eventually started hauling horses. He was working as a dispatcher for Fox Hollow when Bill Egbert Horse Transportation hired him and moved him to Enumclaw in 1972 where he met Rosalie. Time passed, they started dating in 1977, and were married March 3, 1978. Bruce worked for Sears as a truck driver and warehouse foreman; owned a video store in Renton; was an agent for Farmers Insurance; and drove truck for Golden State delivering to McDonald's. He bought his own truck and became an owner-operator working for several companies starting with Boise Cascade and lastly Interstate as a long-haul driver. He sold his truck so he could be home more and worked for Wicks Auto Freight and Scully Transport hauling for Home Depot. Bruce always had a job and was always a dependable employee. In 2006, Bruce fully retired after a serious illness. Bruce and Rosalie spent a lot of time trail riding with their horses, camping, snowmobiling, waterskiing, and on their ATV. Starting in 2007, they spent the Winters in Arizona on the Colorado River. Bruce played water volleyball in the pool every day until he became ill, then they sold the motorhome and quit traveling. Bruce was loved by everyone and he was an all-around great guy.
Bruce is survived by his wife Rosalie; son Donald Sprowl of Georgia; daughter Tina Sailley (Ken) of Las Vegas; stepsons John Pfaff of Enumclaw, James Pfaff of Aberdeen, and  Billy Pfaff (Jane) of Buckley; grandsons Shaun, Cole (Rachel), and Ben; granddaughters Ashley, Paige, Alyssa, Megan, and Christina; and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 11. 2021 at the Kibler Ave Church of Christ. Please share a memory of Bruce on the tribute wall.
