Bryant M Musser

Bryant M. Musser, 77, of Centre Hall, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 29, 1947, in Evanston, IL, he was the son of the late John and Marguerite (Minor) Musser. On April 10, 1969, in Chews Landing, NJ, he married the love of his life, JoAnn B. "Jody" Sparks, who preceded him in death in January of 2018.
Bryant graduated from George School in Newtown, PA in 1966. After high school, he enlisted with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He then earned his bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management from Penn State University. In the late 70's, early 80's, Bryant opened King's Head Antiques downtown State College. He loved antiques, especially antique pool tables, clocks, and gauges. As he was dealing antiques he saw a big want for brass chandeliers. He then started Victorian Lighting Works. There he created reproduction Victorian age chandeliers for homes, TV series, and movies.
Bryant was a member of the American Legion Post 779 in Centre Hall. He enjoyed shooting pool and belonged to many different pool leagues over the years. He was a huge supporter of Penn State wrestling and football and never missed an opportunity to talk about them. He enjoyed being the center of the party with a larger-than-life personality and being a master at tailgating. As he got older, he found happiness and peacefulness in the solitude of his own company but still enjoyed the company of family and friends as well. He was humorous and giving and cherished his family above all else. He was of the quaker faith, and they say, "Let your life speak," which he embodied to the fullest.
Bryant is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Stoner and her husband, Toby, of Spring Mills; son in-law, Sean Gray of Centre Hall; four grandchildren, Cullen Vonada, Rowley Vonada, Kendall Gray, and Phinnean "Phinn" Gray; a brother, Mark Musser of Bellefonte; and his sister in-law, Dorothy Kuns of Florida.
Along with his parents and wife, Bryant was preceded in death by his daughter, Paige M. Gray in 2023.
Following Bryant's wishes, there will be no services.
