Calvin "Buddy" W. Wilson, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away March 7, 2025. He was born September 4, 1944 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Calvin Wilson and Charlotte Searcy Pitts. Buddy spent his entire life as an owner/ operator truck driver for Featherlight and retired from Mountain Valley Water. He settled into his 'home' life after retirement only to keep driving trucks with his son Tony Wilson. He loved his yorkie dogs, especially his Tinkerbells.
Buddy was preceded in death by his Father, Calvin Wilson; Mother, Charlotte Searcy Pitts, Brothers, Earl Pitts and Tom Pitts, Sister, Nancy Montgomery, Daughter, Kathy Wilson Black and his beloved wife of 52 years, Laverne Wilson.
Survivors include his sons; Tony Wilson, Robert Wilson, Sister; Sue Tims, Grandchildren; TJ/Nikki Wilson, Chevy/ Lauren Wilson, Keily/ Derek Bozeman; ; 4 great-grandchildren, Nyxin Wilson, Jolene Wilson, Allison Wilson, Jessi Wilson; Nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Buddy's life will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Polk officiating. Burial to follow service at Morning Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tony Wilson, TJ Wilson, Chevy Wilson, Tray Pickering, Tony Breshears, and Ray Huff.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to The staff at The Springs at Red Oak and Hospice Home Care and Billi Parker.
