Byron Alvalee Daniels

Byron Alvalee Daniels was born on December 4, 1998, and passed away on September 15, 2025.

Byron had a quick wit and was charismatic. He was a young man with strong convictions, a global perspective, and deep patriotism. Though he felt deeply, he only shared his heart with a few.

Byron walked the Great Wall of China, bungee-jumped in New Zealand, hiked the jungles of Borneo, scuba-dived the Great Barrier Reef of Australia, plunged off a waterfall in Maui, and swamp-tromped through the Florida Everglades. He was always up for adventure.

A natural craftsman, Byron was mentored by a master blacksmith in Australia and continued forging, crafting, and creating in the U.S. He showed patience and determination when honing his skills whether it was training his beloved dog Oakley, hunting, bushcraft or target practice.

Byron was ever vigilant and protective of his family and those in need. Even on the day of his passing, his thoughtfulness shone through-reminding his dad to clip a light to his backpack for safety on the trail they loved to hike together.

This, coupled with his patriotism and sense of duty led him to the Army Recruiter's Office, where he scored 93 out of 99 on the ASVAB. The highest score those recruiters had ever seen. With his choice of any career path, he enthusiastically chose Special Forces. He was in the final steps of enlistment.

Byron was a unique, funny, and exceptional young man who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Olivia; his parents, Mark and Rebecca Daniels; and his brother, Joshua Daniels.
