Cadence Gannoe Obituary
Cadence Marie Gannoe age 17, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born in Erie on July 19, 2006, a daughter of Justin and Kolby Kulhanek Gannoe of Fairview.
Cadence was a student at Fairview High School and worked at the Cakery in Fairview.
She was a very kind and loving person, always willing to help someone in need. Cadence was very strong-willed and independent and had an amazing fashion sense!
She was very athletic and extremely fast. Cadence played travel softball for the Erie outlaws and Erie Frost for several years. She was also a member of the Fairview High School Track and Field Team.
Cadence was an overall great kid to be around, and her personality was infectious to all.
She was a free spirit who loved animals and most importantly, she loved spending time with her friends and family. She was the best big sister to her sister and brother.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Keith Kulhanek; great-grandmothers, Virginia Gannoe and Sara Nielsen; and an uncle, Andrew “Grandy” Honard.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister and brother, Emma and Colton Gannoe; grandparents, Anne Jane “AJ” Liebel and her husband Gary, Christine Huntley and her husband Jim, Scott Gannoe and his wife Rita; aunts, Kara O’Connor and her husband Kevin, Kelly Kulhanek and Brittany Molnar and her husband Jon and, Deja Holland; great aunt, Janet Honard; cousins, Quinn and Ellie O’Connor and her step-grandmother, Nancy Kulhanek. She is also survived by her special friends that were family, Julia, Sofia and Amelia Swierczewski.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Fairview and Erie Community for the overwhelming amount of love and support they have received.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
