Caleb was born April 22, 1993, at Portsmouth, VA, to Dana Marie Boze Cockrell who survives and the late John David Cockrell. He had lived in the Sikeston area a number of years and was a graduate of Scott County Central High School. He was employed with RLP Construction.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his son, Odin Edward Blaise Cockrell; his daughter, Rayven Leona Starr Holmes; the mother of his son, Celeste Paige Holmes; his brothers, Josh Cockrell, Ethan Cockrell and Chance Cockrell; his grandparents, Vivian Dial Boze Hasty, David Cockrell and Marie Perez Cockrell Smith; also, his best friend, William Buckley and two close friends, Christian Montgomery and Dylan Revelle.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son Damien Cockrell; his sister, Tessa Marie Cockrell and his grandfather, Orval Lee Boze.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

We met Caleb when he and my son Levi were in John 3:16 together. He was a FABULOUS person. He loved his children deeply. We watched him grow into a confident leader. I hope you will share this sentiment with his children and let them know that he talked about them all of the time, and loved them more than anything in the world. He would want to remind you that above all else, to love Jesus as he loves you.
