Calvin Lakeith Jones came into the world on May 17, 1976 to Otis C. Jones and Debra A. Venzant Jones.
Calvin attended and graduated from M. B. Smiley high school in 1996. After high school he worked at Goodwill and later in his journey he enjoyed working at It's Heaven and Nixon Adult Daycare centers. He attended Lilly Grove Missonary Baptist
Church.
Calvin enjoyed gardening, bowling, movies and he loved arts and crafts.
Calvin departed this life on June 10, 2025. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Manuel & Odessa Venzant, Mattie Mae Salisbury. Sister Lisa Williams and Aunt Beverly Scott.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Otis C. Jones and Debra Venzant Jones. Sister Valencia S. Jones, Aunts Carolyn Venzant, Cynthia Ross and Mary Speech (Michael),
Uncle Harold Lee Taylor. Nieces Danisha Jones (Markel) Makayla Smith, great nieces Kaia Jones and Kynslei Caston, nephew Jarvis Johnwell, great nephew Koda Caston.
Loving cousins, Markisha Venzant Sampson (Robert), Shannel White, Anitria White, Tara Jones, Mittie Jones, Derrick Jones, Tyson Scott, Tennille Taylor, David Ross Jr, Weylin Ross and a host of relatives and friends.
Calvin was a kind gentle soul whom never met a stranger and will be greatly missed.
