Carl Jeffery "Jeff" Hengstenberg, 63, of Evansville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Jeff was born on December 20, 1961, in Evansville to Jean A. (Faver) Moore and the late Carl A. "Bud" Hengstenberg. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Silgan where he worked as a machine operator. He had also worked as a bartender at Break Time Bar and Grill. Jeff enjoyed riding his motorcycle, reading, cooking and his cats, Woody and GiGi.
Surviving Jeff are his mother, Jean Ann Moore; sister, Michelle McCormick; nieces, Ashley (Matthew) Hastings and April (Bryan) Coughlin and great nephews, Jude, Ezra and Isaac.
In addition to his father, Jeff was preceded in death by his sister, Kelly Schroeder and niece, Emily McCormick.
There will be a celebration of Jeff's life held at a later date.
