I´m so sorry to read of your passing. I was just driving through the neighborhood the other day and looked to see if your huge Biden sign was in your window yet. I think we were the only Biden supporters in our neighborhood. I remember you helping me out with cutting my grass and loaning me your ladder so I could get up on the roof. Although I moved a few years ago, I still have ties to it. I think we were the last of the "old crew" left. Condolences to your family and friends. RIP with Elinor.

You failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. Carl, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy war veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The USS Oriskany is in station preparing for your final departure. The plank is in place and honor guards are stationed. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
