with Sam's St. John. Carl was a devoted father. He leaves behind three children, the late Carl Allen Johnson, Jr., Carlnesha (Johntae) Killings, and Labrente Johnson. He was also a proud grandfather to four granddaughters: Layla Johnson, Nyomie Johnson, Navaeh Peña-Johnson, and Nyellie Peña-Johnson.
Carl is also survived by his sisters, Gloria (Glenn) Cook, Patricia Redmon, Diane Johnson, and Peggy Carter; brothers, Dennis (Tonya) Johnson, James (Peggy-Ann) Johnson, Tony Johnson, and Albert (Celestine) Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends .
