Carl Lewis Obituary

Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army before beginning a long career as a tool and die maker, retiring from Simpson Industries in Litchfield. A simple man at heart, Carl found great joy in his cars, motorcycles, and the company of good friends.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Kayle and Maurine; and his siblings: Sharon, Jane, Jean, Melanie, George, and Charles.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastor Al Fenstermaker officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Reading.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Salvation Army of Hillsdale.
