Born on July 17, 1942, in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, Carmen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and creativity. A gifted seamstress, she had a true passion for crafts, especially when it came to designing and sewing costumes for her cherished granddaughter. Her hands created not just fabric pieces, but memories stitched with care and imagination.
Carmen was known for her compassionate heart and unwavering support of those around her. Friends and family alike turned to her for kindness, wisdom, and her unique sense of humor that could light up any room. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her generosity touched many lives.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Lopez; her son, Ricardo Babilonia; her treasured grandchildren, Tatiana Lopez and Ricardo James Babilonia; and countless friends who were blessed to know her.
Carmen's life was a beautiful patchwork of love, service, and creativity. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
