Carol Skinner Angelo, 84, of Millcreek, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday April 8, 2025. She was born in Erie on April 12, 1940 a daughter of the late Chester R. and Helen Skinner.
Carol graduated from Academy High School and worked as an administrative assistant at Northwest Savings Bank for 20 years until her retirement in 2004. Carol was a volunteer for Mercy Center for Women and Dress for Success Erie for 20 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond J. Angelo, who passed away September 4, 2017, and her sister, Elizabeth Becker.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Angelo (Gina) and Jeffrey Angelo (Deb); five grandchildren, Nicholas Angelo, Nathan (Erin) Angelo, Sarah (John) Dougherty, Jennifer Angelo, and Jason Angelo; her great granddaughter, Grace Dougherty; her brother, Richard Skinner (Claudia); two sisters in law, Marlene (Robert) Martin and Carol Henry; many nieces and nephews; and her "Clubbies" who were her "forever friends" with whom she met once a month for the past 60 years.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 noon. Entombment will follow in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum.
