Carol Janet Bleick

Carol Janet Bleick, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of
Neenah, WI died late Tuesday evening, April 4, 2023, after
an extended illness.
Mrs. Bleick was born on Wednesday, November 22, 1933,
to the late Harry G. and Edith S. (Stoneberg) Ostlund.
She received a BA degree from Purdue University and
then later enjoyed home construction, design and interior
decorating. As the former Carol Janet Ostlund on
September 16, 1957, in Chicago, IL she married her loving
husband of 65 years, Mr. Merle Alan Bleick who survives.
In addition to her husband Merle, she leaves behind to
cherish her memory her devoted children; daughters,
Meredith B. Pelehach and her husband, Michael L. of
Knoxville, TN and Alison J. Bleick and her husband,
Robert L. Acker of Elgin, IL; a son, Thomas M. Bleick and
his wife, Dana Swekosky of Horse Shoe, NC; five
grandchildren Sarah J. Mayfield and her husband, Alex,
Jane E. Pelehach, Eric M. Pelehach and his wife, Cari,
Caroline N. Bleick and Andrew T. Bleick; and a great-grandson,
Nolan. Other survivors include her nieces, Gail Gregory,
Karen Tapscott and Terry Ferguson. Along with her
parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Harriett
G. Ostlund and Betty A. Wende.
A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Bleick's life will be
announced in the future to be held at Appleton Highland
Memorial Park in Appleton, WI.

Carol will be forever missed by her loving and devoted
husband, children, grandchildren, grandson, family and
dear friends. May God Grant Her Eternal Rest.
