Carol A. Kelley, age 78, of Farmdale, OH, died Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Youngstown, OH. She was born January 11, 1947, in Akron, OH, and was the daughter of George and Virginia Rapp. She was a 1965 graduate of Green High School in Green, OH. Carol had been a resident of Farmdale for the past 7 years and was formerly of Uniontown, OH. She was employed as an executive secretary for Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton,OH, for many years before retiring in 2009. In her youth she was noted for her beautiful voice and singing at church; and she was an avid reader. Carol is survived by her husband, David R. Kelley, whom she married March 25, 1993, of Farmdale; her two sons, Scott Apsega of Monroe, NC, and Chris (Ashleigh) Apsega of Sagamore Hills, OH; her three grandchildren, John, Reed, and Autumn; her two brothers, James Hall of Wooster, OH, and Jack Hall of Flagler Beach, FL; and three nieces, Shelly, Becky, and Jenny. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bob Lewis; two sisters, Joan Danford and Judy Zamba; and a niece, Trisha. No services will be held at this time.
