Carol Zita Lang, 69,of Newton, formerly of Franklin, died October 18 at the Blaire House in Milford following a long illness.
Born in Framingham on November 11, 1954, the daughter of the late Earl F. and Josephine (Calf) Lang, Carol was raised in Franklin and had lived in Needham for many years before moving to Newton a year ago.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and earned an A.B. in Psychology from Stonehill College in 1976.
Carol had been a home health aide.
She is survived by her siblings David P. Lang of Franklin, Michael G. Lang and his wife Maria of Seminole, Florida, Mary E. Lang -Coroniti and her husband Frank of Milford, Nancy A. Lang and her husband Dave Williams of Leoma, Tennessee, Jeanne E. Kellogg and her husband Charles of Franklin and Christine M. Lang and her partner Mark Garrity of Millbury.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A service honoring her life will be held on Saturday November 9 at 2:30p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin , 131 Main Street. Franklin.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 -2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 189, Box Elder, SD 57719.
