Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Carrie Morrello Whitemiller.
Carol Ann was a hard working and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved gathering together with her family, and getting to see her grandchildren was the highlight of her day. She enjoyed traveling to her hometown in Chicago to spend time with her dear brother, Gary.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Blackerby and husband, Rev. Eric Blackerby, and Jessica Anderson and husband, Kevin; five grandchildren, Kasey Nordeen, Taylor Blackerby and wife, Olivia, Weston Blackerby and wife, Karina, Elle Blackerby, Kassidy Tart and husband, Cody; and one great-grandchild, Judah Retcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Nordeen and son, Jeffrey L. Nordeen.
Per Carol's request, the funeral service will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daventon Baptist Church, 312 Daventon Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.

I have old photos of Carol, Larry and Jeffery. My parents Eileen and Al Balsavich were friends with them. I found theses photos and would like to share any memories with you.
