Carol Kistler Pitts, age 63, of Strafford, PA, passed unexpectedly on Friday, January 3, 2025. Born on February 20, 1961 in Colorado Springs, CO, she was the daughter of Paul M. Kistler and the late Martha (Garner) Kistler.
Carol was a 1979 graduate of Conestoga High School in Berwyn, PA, and received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL (1983). After college, she worked for Media Child Guidance in Marple, PA as a Counselor. She then worked at Allstate Insurance in Exton, PA as a Claims Adjuster. For the next fifteen years, Carol worked for Reckner Healthcare as a Quality Assurance Specialist, moderating and administering focus groups in both Pennsylvania and Florida. She went on to work for AutoNation Lincoln in Clearwater, FL. Upon her return to Pennsylvania in 2018, she worked as a Floral Assistant at Wegmans Market in Malvern. In 2020, she accepted a role as a Move-In-Coordinator at Arbor Terrace Senior Living in Exton, PA. Shortly thereafter, she worked as the Office Administrator at Healing Arts in Exton, PA. Carol then reestablished her position as a Floral Assistant at Wegmans in Collegeville, PA.
Carol was a devoted Christian woman, who was looked upon by her family and friends as a true angel of God. She started every morning reading her bible and listening to Joyce Meyers and other spiritual leaders. Carol spent her life giving everything of herself to others, and no words can describe how much she will be missed.
Carol is survived by two children, Kendra L. Davis and Michael P. Pitts; father, Paul M. Kistler, one brother, Kenneth P., husband of Kim Kistler; and a nephew, Dale L. Kistler.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carol's memorial service on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, 145 S.
