Carol Ann Ravas, 89 of Oak Harbor, OH died Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born May 17, 1935 in Oak Harbor, OH to the late Arthur Hemminger and Delores (Baugher) Verb. She was a 1953 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. On August 19, 1955 she married Gilbert Ravas who preceded her in death May 16, 2003. Carol worked in the office for Economy Plumbers in Fremont, OH retiring in 1997. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.
Survivors include her children: James Ravas of Fremont, OH and Jacqueline (Timothy) Shiets of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: Jami (Jody) Overmier, Jonathan Shiets, Michael (Kassidie) Hanthorn, Theodore (Rachel) Ravas, Kristina (Alex) Graening, Phillip Ravas, and Andrew Ravas; great-grandchildren: Makenzie, Trevor, and Trentynn; and sister Shirley Pfaff. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Hemminger, mother and step-father Delores and Steve Verb, daughter and son-in-law Jodi and Todd Buehler, and brother-in-law Donald Pfaff.
A Graveside Service will be held privately by the family in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, under the direction of Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesmanfuneralhome.com.
