BURGHILL-Carol Ann Waite, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at The Heritage Nursing Home in Findlay, Ohio.
Born September 29, 1945, in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of Clarence and Ruth (Sillman) Vogel. Carol married her beloved husband, Dr. Robert M. Waite, on September 15, 1973; they were married 45 years at the time of his passing in 2019.
Strong in her faith, Carol was a member of the Kinsman Presbyterian Church where she served as the former Elder, Deacon and Trustee for several years. She was also a member of the Decorative Painters Society and the Auxiliary to the Ohio Osteopathic Association. In her spare time, Carol was a talented painter and quilter and enjoyed reading and traveling.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, David (Nicole) Simons of Flagstaff, AZ, Jeffrey Simons of Findlay, Ohio, daughter, Carolyn (Mark) Barner of Burghill, Ohio; her brother, David (Joey) Vogel of Youngstown, OH; several grandchildren; stepdaughter, Linda (Marland) Lout of Metairie, LA; stepson, David (Jennifer) Waite of Kinsman, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dr. Robert Waite.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00AM at Kinsman Cemetery with Pastor Susan Frances officiating.
