Carole passed away at her home on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 87. The daughter of the late Charles and Erma (Burnside) Bellville was born July 3, 1937 in Omer, Michigan. Carole was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and was retired from the Bay City School System as a crossing guard. Carole enjoyed being a volunteer at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and enjoyed bowling, gardening, canning and doing ceramics.
Carole is survived by her two sons, Woody Carrick and Kevin (Joan) Carrick; three grandchildren, Myles (Amanda) Carrick, Collin Carrick and Cameron Carrick; one sister, Jeanette Bronson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Carrick and her daughter, Kimberly Carrick.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Nancy Mayhew with private interment following at Elm Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.
