Carole LeeAnn Reed- Talbert, 63, of Frankfort, passed away at Franciscan Hospital East in Lafayette. She was born July 16, 1961, in Frankfort to Robert E. and Marjorie (Hackerd) Reed. She married Larry Talbert in 1990. He preceded her in death.
Carole attended Clinton Prairie High School. She worked as an LPN for Clinton House in Frankfort, Chase Center Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Logansport, and then Frankfort Nursing Home. She was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed writing, writing and singing music, crocheting, and doing arts and crafts. She was very witty and intelligent and able to do many things. She was a great friend and sister, with a big heart and desire to help others whoever she could, even if just sitting and listening.
She is survived by her brothers, Ronnie (Cheryl) Hall and Robin (Joy) Reed; sister, Rita Corn; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
She was preceded in death by parents and an infant baby brother, Timmy Reed.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. Pastor Brad Fullerton will officiate. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Assembly of God.
