Carolina Barrios

Our beloved daughter, Carolina Barrios, was taken from us on May 20, 2024, at the young age of 12. She was born on October 28, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas where she had lived her whole life. An adored daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend the loss of Carolina is felt deeply by those who were blessed to have her in their lives. She will forever be remembered as a kindhearted girl with a radiant personality. Carolina was in the 6th grade at Legacy Middle School; she had good grades and was looking forward to the last day of school. One of her favorite class was band in which she was learning to play the trombone. She had just performed in a band concert and was so happy that her family was there to see her. As a growing teen, she enjoyed playing Fortnite, putting on makeup, doing TikTok's and creating memories with her family. She loved her friends very dearly and never went a day without calling them.
Carolina is survived by her loving parents, Genesis Samaniego and Francisco Barrios; siblings, Hellen and Thomas B.; grandmothers Anayanci S. and María B.; aunts/uncles Sarai & Luis S., Cecilia A., Maria L. and Victor B. She was preceded by her young uncle, Obed Morales. Her family ask for anyone attending to wear white and to always remember Carolina as a happy girl with a contagious laugh.
