Caroline Kuder, 87-year-old Wann resident, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at home. She was born September 26, 1937, in Hopkins, Missouri to Grover Cleveland and Hattie Mae (Snodgrass) Flowers.
Caroline was a resolute educator, earning two master’s degrees. She taught for two years at Big Cabin Schools and then South Coffeyville until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time quilting and was truly a professional quilter. At one time, she had a quilt shop and also shared her love and gift of quilting by giving lessons. She also enjoyed antique cars.
Caroline loved her little farm. Despite the tireless upkeep, she had an immaculate place. Her true love in life; however, was her family. She was a campfire girls’ leader in her younger years, and, later, enjoyed spending time with her grandkids whom she was responsible for spoiling.
Caroline is survived by her children, Karol Andrews and husband, Ken, of Wann, Oklahoma, Jean Lewis of Wichita, Kansas, Mark Kuder and wife, Sherry, of Pryor, and Clayton Kuder of Wann, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Snodgrass and wife, Jackie, of Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Kuder; parents, and her brother, Romelee Flowers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Monday, May 5, 2025, at Luginbuel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Adam Lazarine officiating.
