Caroline Latt Obituary

Caroline Khin Latt, 72, of Upper Nazareth Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Lukes Hospice House with her family by her side. Born on October 2, 1950 in Yangon, Myanmar, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Ba Latt and Mrs. Khin Than Myint.
Caroline worked as the Diplomat for Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Burma for many years until she retired. She was a faithful member of Saccananda Dhamma Center, Bethlehem. She had a love for politics and gardening. Caroline was an outspoken and determined person who had a heart of gold and would be the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.
Survivors: Caroline will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Hnin Pwint Phyu and her husband Win T. Aung; grandsons, Rylan Aung, and Declan Aung; sisters, Dr. Adeline Khin Latt, and Khin Sandar Latt; brother, Dr. Naymyo Thiri Latt. She was predeceased by brother, Dr. Thura Thiri Latt.
A traditional 7th day observance religious ceremony will be held at Caroline's residence on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the morning. The family will receive Caroline's Burmese friends for the religious ceremony and the family has reserved 3-5pm to receive condolences from friends & neighbors of Caroline and her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
