Born on Sunday, October 3rd. 1948, to Everard Lewis and Helen Irva (Summers) Irwin in Ainsworth, Nebraska, Lynn spent her early years in Nebraska before her family relocated to the Black Hills in the early 1960s. On May 13th, 1966 she married the love of her life, Ralph Eugene Hancock. Together they settled in Douglas, Wyoming in 1972, where they raised their two children, Jay and Kristie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Everard, on September 23, 1978; mother, Helen, on August 19, 2017; and sister, Alice Bechtold, April 7, 2024.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Hancock; her sisters Sandra Burdette and Nora (Bob) Brill; her children Jay (Jackie) Hancock and Kristie Hancock; her grandchildren Taylor (Lee) Schaub, Justin (Mallory) Hancock, Conner (Hailey) Sensenich, and Cameron (Jaiden) Sensenich; and her great-grandchildren Elisia Sensenich and Roman Schaub.
Lynn's legacy lives on in the love she gave, the stories she shared, and the family she cherished. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
