Carolyn J. Montgomery, 85, of Westfield passed away August 12, 2024. She was born December 26, 1938, in Corsicana, Texas the daughter of the late George W. and Inez (Salkhill) Little.
Carolyn was a 1957 graduate of Westfield High School, where she met the love of her life, Hal Montgomery. They married the following year, raising their family and running their businesses in their beloved community of Westfield. Upon retirement, Hal and Carolyn traveled the world with the people they loved most.
She is survived by two children, Debbie Harrison and Hal T. (Jenny) Montgomery; six grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke (Eric), Randa, Amanda (Justin), Cassandra (Jacob), and David; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 59 years, Hal Montgomery; son, Tyler Montgomery; and two sisters, Georgia Anna Reger and Paula Dillard.
A memorial gathering will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
