Carolyn Annette Taylor Smith, born on April 3, 1939, in Paris, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Harold Smith; her parents, Pearl and Harold Taylor; and her brothers, JM and Robert Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sue Morath.

Carolyn is survived by her brother Silas and his wife Jaunita Taylor, along with her devoted daughters, Barbara Crane and Cyndi Myers. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Cliff and Brandy Vallier, Chad Smith and Victoria Saldana, Carrie and Cory Lee, Courtney and Josh Diaz, Kelsey, Jeremy, and Abby Myers. Additionally, she is survived by many great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren who adored her and whom she loved deeply, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Carolyn will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her generous spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to give a sincere thanks to Beyond Faith Hospice - Wichita Falls for all the love and support during our time of need.
